Oyster omelette, ororh luak, is a common dish often found in Singapore hawker centres. Even then,Song Kee Fried Oyster stands out from the rest with their exceptionally crispy and fluffyorh luak. We love it because it's not too oily, and carries the perfect balance of egg, starch and oysters. Not to mention, their oysters are fresh, and go well with the salty air of the seaside at East Coast Park!

Braised Pig Trotters are a fairly hard-to-find delicacy, butHan Jia Bak Kut Teh is the absolute master of the dish. The pieces of trotter are huge, and strike a good balance between meaty and fatty as they soak up the tasty braising liquid after hours of simmering. The sticky sauce is a good mix of savoury and sweet, and coats the trotters well to ensure every bite is as flavourful as the last! We recommend ordering half fatty and half lean meat to enjoy both the soft fats and fall-off-the-bone tender meat!

The stall also serves some good Bak Kut Teh, the peppery soup striking a nice contrast to the strong flavours of the pig trotters. Order both the Bak Kut Teh and the Braised Pig Trotters to enjoy an amazing, heartwarming meal!

This famous stall from East Coast Lagoon needs no introduction – Lagoon Leng Kee Beef Kway Teowis one of the long-time favourites for a soothing, rich bowl of beef noodles. The flavourful soup is well absorbed by the strands of flat rice noodles, and is well accompanied by just-cooked slices of beef. For their cuts of brisket, tendon and tripe, they are only sliced upon order, which keeps the meat moist and tasty. We advise going early to avoid the long queues!
